Brian Mercer  RP Bio.  – Senior Biologist

Mr. Mercer has over 30 years’ experience in the field of  fisheries and aquatic sciences.  As the principal of MEI (formerly B. Mercer & Associates) from 1984 to 2014 he has been directly involved in and responsible for the successful completion of a wide range of fishery related projects and programs in north western Canada.   He has experience successfully collaborating on regional and international/inter agency  fishery programs.  From 2006 – 2013 he was a member of the Pacific Salmon Commission – Transboundary Technical Committee.   Duties have included project design and management, technical report preparation, position papers, briefing materials, and technical presentations to scientific bodies and the public.

 

Robert Gransden  BSc – Fisheries Biologist

Since receiving his BSc. from McGill University in 1979  Mr. Gransden has worked on wide range of fisheries related projects as a biologist and field technician.  Past employers have included Fisheries and Oceans Canada, Golder Associates Ltd and Envirocon Pacific.  Since 20o6 he has been employed by MEI.  Primary areas of expertise are fish culture and stock assessment.
